Dormitory Facilities:

Boarding in Singkong Hall means an easy life as all daily necessities are in an arm’s length. Located at the junction of Mandalay Road and Minbu Road, we are just 2 minutes walk from Balestier Road bus station or 10 minutes walk from Novena MRT station. Except many different shops and food chain-stores scattering in the area, there are 2 big shopping malls nearby, namely, the Shaw Plaza and Velocity. It takes 10 minutes walking to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, 15 minutes by bus (no.130 &131) to Bugis Street, National Library and City Hall, and about 20 minutes to Marina Bay. 

It’s almost nothing more important than life security while living overseas. In Singkong Hall, we have 24-hour security for hostel patrol, CCTV security system and strict policy of students logging in and out. Our responsible security officers are dispatched from well-known security company and many of them are well-experienced with discipline background and experience. 

What makes our student feel different while boarding here? It’s simply our extra care and concern over the overall environmental and their living space hygiene. We not only appoint contractors for regular cleaning, landscaping, gardening and pest-controlling, but also employ the veteran housekeepers and wardens to manage the hostel, who are readily anytime to cater for students’ individual need or ad-hoc fixing requirement.  

Our hostel is well equipped with 24-hour hot drinking water machine, washing machines, bathrooms, toilets, computer rooms, self-study rooms, recreational room, canteen and Café with TV. Each of hostel room is installed with hard case locker and air conditioner in addition to basic bedding and desk.

Singkong Hall is highly entrusted by most of the parents because we take care of their children as if they do at their home country. Our responsible and helpful staffs keep coordinating with students’ parents from time to time, especially in some critical or urgent situations. Our extended free services include providing individual face-to-face counseling and group tutoring after school in order to further consolidate their learning. Awaiting your arrival!
